Iberestudios launches three free AI master’s programmes built around learning by doing
Barcelona, November 4, 2026. Iberestudios has launched a new free education initiative with beta applications open for three online programmes: Applied Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence for Filmmaking and Entrepreneurship with Artificial Intelligence.
The programmes are built around a simple premise: watching a video can explain how something is done, but it does not prove that a learner can do it.
“We do not want to measure how many videos a student has watched. We want to know what they can build, test, improve and explain.”
The learning model therefore focuses on assignments, projects, feedback, revision and evidence. Students produce a first version of their work, receive feedback, improve it and keep a record of the decisions, tests and corrections made along the way.
Three free programmes, three different outcomes
Applied Artificial Intelligence
The programme covers AI assistants, source verification, content creation, data, automation, agents, application development, evaluation, costs, risk and governance. Students progressively build their own project and defend the decisions behind it.
Artificial Intelligence for Filmmaking
Participants develop a short film of approximately three to five minutes, working through storytelling, pre-production, visual production, sound, editing, finishing and audience testing. AI can be used in fully generative workflows or combined with traditional production.
Entrepreneurship with Artificial Intelligence
Participants research a real opportunity, interview potential customers, define a value proposition, build a prototype, test early commercial conversations and use evidence to decide whether to continue, change direction or stop.
Free means the programme can actually be completed for free
The complete learning programme, the basic AI Tutor and the standard Iberestudios certificate of completion are free after meeting the academic requirements. Optional paid services may be offered separately, but they are not required to pass the programme or receive the standard certificate.
Learning designed to feel more like real work
Each programme is designed as a 24-week online learning journey. The objective is for learners to finish with more than knowledge: they should leave with projects and evidence they can show and explain.
Iberestudios is currently accepting beta applications to test the workload, activities, feedback and learning experience before the first full cohorts.
