**Do you want to study Theoretical Chemistry in Europe? **
We offer you: (1) To learn the state of the art methods in Quantum Chemistry; (2) Perform simulations in different areas: Biochemical systems, Nanotechnology and New Materials, Reaction Dynamics, Molecular structure and spectroscopy; (3) A research project in one of the 6 countries involved; (4) Mobility in a consortium of 25 top European Universities.
Objetivos
The Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling (TCCM) Master is an initiative of 25 european institutions from 6 different European countries that aims to:
- Establish a European standard for research-oriented studies in TCCM.
- Prepare experts in the use and development of computational techniques in molecular sciences, to work with innovative pharmaceutical, petrochemical and new-materials industries.
- Prepare students for doctoral studies in Chemistry, Physics, Life or Material Sciences.
- Promote international mobility of research students.
- Offer to students from a wide range of countries (including non-European ones) a highly qualified title at the post-bachelor level.
A quién va dirigido este programa
Students having a bachelor in Chemistry, Physics or Material Science (or related degrees). Other scientific bachelors can be accepted, provided the student takes complementary levelling courses, under the supervision of his local Tutor.
The TCCM European Master is spread over two years (120 ECTS credits):
• The FIRST YEAR (M1, 60 ECTS) will be followed at student’s HOME UNIVERSITY in one of the 6 European countries involved: Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.
• The SECOND YEAR (M2) includes an INTENSIVE INTERNATIONAL COUSRSE, equivalent to 24 ECTS (September) and 36 ECTS of RESEARCH activity that will be carried out in a member Institution of the consortium (25 EU Institutions involved) in another country. || The defence of the MASTER THESIS at the home Institution will entitle the student to bear a MASTER DEGREE in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling delivered by his/her home Institution jointly with the other members of the Consortium.
Requsistos
Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Physics or Material Science (or related degrees). Other scientific bachelors can be accepted, provided the student takes complementary levelling courses, under the supervision of his local Tutor.
